Education Award Only Members

The AmeriCorps Education Award Only program expands opportunities for individuals to serve their communities as AmeriCorps members and earn a voucher to help pay for college or to pay off student loans. This program differs from the full-time AmeriCorps programs in that members are serving in a part-time capacity and do not receive a living stipend or health insurance. Volunteers must spend at least 300 hours during a calendar year engaged in service in the areas of education, environmental issues,and/or human needs. The program is flexible and nearly every interest can fit.
